Welcome the Light: Daily Devotions for Advent

My "Currently Reading" listing, Welcome the Light: Daily Devotions for Advent, has been of great help to me this Advent season. It speaks to my pride and self-denial issues, and hopefully I'll let it help me grow more mature. As my grandmother gets worse, I've been spending a lot more time over there. It's really opening my eyes as to where I get my various possitive and negative traits. Of course, I read somewhere once that our negative traits are really just our possitive traits made sinful.
I have a lot I want to journal out and not enough time. Mental prayer will have to suffice. Otherwise I'll be on no sleep all week at work, which would be bad this time of year in retail.
Of course I've never seen any of the movies I supposedly match. *shrug*
The Movie Of Your Life Is A Cult Classic Quirky, offbeat, and even a little campy - your life appeals to a select few.
But if someone's obsessed with you, look out! Your fans are downright freaky.
Your best movie matches: Office Space, Showgirls, The Big Lebowski"The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure." ~Vince Lombardi

I think I'm deciding more and more to try to stick to my blog theme and leave out non-related personal stuff. If you're upset b/c you can't blog as much as you'd like, maybe picking a theme would help. Of course your blog may be an exercise in public diary, in which case all themes apply, right? Merry Christmastime and all the best keeping up with your blogging desires!
What I'd really like is a time delay posting capability. Say, I post an entry right now, and I could put a date like 20/12/2112 and it would post it privately now but would automatically become public on the date I chose. Some entries I'd post right away, and others I'd want time to cool off, and others probably not until I die. Because, ever since I was little, I've wanted my journals to be available to future generations. Web journals seem to offer that.
That said, I've actually made some "Protected" posts which you haven't seen. The current "Protected" status doesn't nearly match up to what Multiply has, but it's crude enough to work in the nonce.
So, no, that's not the reason. I have a backlog of weeks of emails I need to read, Christmas cards I'm still writing, and am recovering from (dare I say it) not being 100% physical well. Because I work retail, and this time of year few people respect closing hours in their rush for last minute gifts, I really don't have much time at all. I've even ignored my cat's litter box a few days at a time recently because I don't have much time. Hopefully it'll all be over by mid-January.
Well it's past mid-January. I hope you came out of the rush ok. Health-wise, too! I just now noticed you'd sent me a xanga message reply. Hadn't seen that inbox before!
