Well, I'm consistantly two notches below where I started wearing this belt. I guess that would mean that I'm back to my old weight. I was thinking about it the other day, and my old belt I eventually had to resize because I went two notches bigger. I had kind of ignored that as well, but people have been making so much more talk of my weight loss than my weight gain that I've had to admit that it has happened. So much for my denial.
I've had a big craving for chocolate these past months of weight loss. But just like the high carb count I consume, I have failed to gain weight. Chocolate is hard to keep stocked in my house right now. Currently I'm finishing off a box of enrobed milano cookies. Mmmmm.....
This week has been less busy. I did several loads of laundry, talked to friends on the phone recapping the past weekend and/or planning the next, turned down a ticket to see Kiss and Poison (I've already seen Kiss at the AZ State Fair and the concert is opposite Shadowrun. What's a gamer to choose?), read a few of my web journal backlogged entries, remembered things I forgot to include in my last entry here but which I can't remember now, et cetera.
Most importantly, I got my new bicycle frame back from the shop Tuesday morning. The shop did a very poor job of reattaching my old stuff to the new frame, but what can I do when Trek dealers are so few and the warranty is only good through authorized dealers? I miss my old bicycle shops, three of which closed last year.
Next of importance was running into Sam and getting to chat with him on my way home from work last night. We had a good chat.
Well, I read some of my recent comments, so I'll try to reply as best as I can:
Yay! I'm getting jelly babies! Yay! Sounds like its time to have a Doctor Who viewing party to celebrate. He uses jelly babies to great effect in The Sun Makers. Although, I'd always be up for any suggestions.
I'm sure I saw David Dellucci when he played for the Diamondbacks, but I don't recall seeing anything which stuck in my mind. Spectator sports aren't really my thing. I know the most about MLB because both of my biological parents and their families enjoy the pasttime. We used to listen to the games at work before they took away our radio and demoted our store manager who is a big Diamondbacks fan. My father actually took me to the twenty strikeout game which Randy Johnson pitched for nine innings. So I'm sure I've seen and heard Dellucci play, but nothing really comes to mind other than knowing the name.
Yes, Nick and Kristie waved to me in the theatre before the movie started. The PFF had much better seats than our group, as they didn't have to wait to get off work on the westside (at least, not as late as us if they did). The warm welcome was the reason why I was surprised that when Nick and I started chatting after the movie that the rest of the PFF jetted without saying goodbye. When I started chatting with Nick everyone was there in the Harkins main consessions area. Then poof, he realised that he had been left behind. He had to rush his goodbyes and try to find where everyone else had run off. Hopefully he found them.
I did enjoy HP3, despite the fact that more liberties were taken in this than the other two movies combined. The darker tone matched the darker tone of the book, the dementors were exactly as described, and the movie made rereading the book all the more enjoyable again. I, too, look forward to HP4.
I hope Jada doesn't mind that I didn't reply to her decision to reinvestigate the Catholic Church. Something like that just needs time for her to investigate, and from what I just saw on her site, it looks like she's discovered what she wanted. While I, of course, always encourage people to explore their faithlife, God has set us each our own paths. Unless people specifically requested of me, I tend to let people find their paths on their own so as to insure that it is their path and not one partially molded by and/or for me. As always, may the Lord bless her search, and the search of all others trying to find their Way in life.
I'm extremely tired all of a sudden, so I guess I'll go to bed. Night everyone!
Thanks to Chris for this quiz. I hope I'm not really that bad! (I bet Jada won't match me on this one!)
