Tomorrow is the transit of Venus, which promises to be cool even though I'll have to get up before dawn if I want to watch it live on the Internet. It's visible from 75% of the Earth and I just so happen to be part of the other 25%. It has to happen to somebody. So, I guess I had better go to bed instead of trying to update here.
I've never had to block a user before, but I think it'll be easier than my having to constantly delete their inappropriate content from my journal here. I asked them to stop, I don't know what more I can do.
Let's see...Friday the 28th, we watched Slipstream with Bill Paxton and Mark Hamill. I'll have to do a review of that movie later when I have more time.
Saturday was Steve's campaign. I'll update everyone on the game events later, too.
Sunday, my mom came into town to listen to me lector for Pentecost. I was cringing as the first reading was read, as the lector had obviously not gone over the pronunciations of the various lands mentioned. Oh well, maybe few people will have noticed.
Monday, I attended a Diagon Alley Live meeting, where we planned our strategy for Hexacon. Afterwards, Wayne had a barbeque where he experimented with rum burgers and dogs. Between meals we played Apples to Apples, San Juan, and I started my changling warlock for Scott's Paladium campaign.
Tuesday, I enjoyed my day off for the holiday by playing Shadowfist with Jason and watching Scream of the Shalka. The holiday threw off my whole schedule, as most other people have happen after three day weekends.
Wednesday, Mary and Robert started working at our store. They finished their training in Mesa and will be with us until the Scottsdale store opens later this year.
Friday, we attempted to go see HP3:PA as a group, but somehow things got mismanaged and we ended up in two groups in two different theatres. We ran into the PFF at our screening, but only Nick stopped to chat with me. Afterwards, our two groups got back together and discussed the film before calling it a night.
Saturday was Steve's campaign again. Once again, I'll save the recap for when I have more time.
Sunday, Jason never came and picked me up for the Shadowfist tournament, and he, Trav, and Harley didn't return their cell phone voice mails. So, I hope everyone had fun without me. I didn't even know that Trav had started a new season already until Jason told me during Shadowfist the previous Tuesday. When I called Game Depot around 12:20, Mike said none of the gang had showed up yet, so I gave up on them and called my mom to tell her I was availble earlier than planned.
She was going to attend mass with me afterwards, so we got together early and visited my maternal grandparents. I got to see some of their new projects, watched Villaverde narrowly pull a win for the Diamondbacks, and otherwise enjoyed good conversation before heading to mass. Father Richard filled in for Father Milt who is on vacation this week, and my mom had not apparently met him yet.
Today I got caught up on a lot of paperwork, some E-mails, figured I'd better post here even if I didn't have time to read my subscriptions, and set up plans for being busy all of this week. I'll try to post a little more frequently so that I can go into better depth on things and still have relevant emotional responses to the events I recount.
Anyway, I'm really going to bed this time. God bless y'all.

You rule over Rivendell, the land of the elves, both wise and fair, with no time for the needs of the weak human race. Happy in the company of your people, you focus wholly in keeping your land away from the dark lord and out of evilll...
