  • In loco parentis is an interesting look into the future.

Well, thanks for the continued good wishes for my birthday.  Bill and I did indeed go see The Punisher that night.  Then on Thursday the gang went to Chuy's where we had great food and great conversation.  Afterwards we went to Jinnetic's to watch Clone Wars Season II and play Star Wars Epic Duels.  Everyone now knows why I call it the best Star Wars game I have ever played.  If you still haven't played this game yet, do whatever you have to do to get the opportunity.  Seriously.

Friday we played Wasteworld again.  Saturday we watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Starship Troopers II.  Sunday Father Milt was back for mass.  Last week he had done mass for Saint Gregory Parish's 17:00 hours mass.  Today I mowed, went grocery shopping, and am expecting my mother to come by with her hand-me-down colour television and computer speakers.    Speaking of which, I think that's her in the driveway now...

  • That Gematriculator page is part of a bigger set of pages that are just plain scary. Apparently homokaasu means "gay gas" in Finnish? Ulp.

  • But I do agree--Star Wars Clone Wars episodes 11-20 were cool, although I agree with stacinator's comment that I'm not sure we can let our kids see parts 17-20.

  • Yeah, I didn't explore much more there.  They have a thing to keep track of how many people you kill in this world, a Homeland Security threat alert icon, et cetera.  This world has some strange stuff in it.

The numerology aspect of Christianity is something in which many people believe, so I thought I'd have some fun and show how a site named after a demon was still 70% good.  I have never been able to believe in things like numerology and astrology, but belief systems always fascinate me.  I don't know how serious the site was, but the Gematriculator intrigued me enough to share it.  It's no Pi, but what is?

  • It sounds like you had a very busy weekend. Happy Belated Birthday!!!!!
