  • Well, this is highly annoying.  Whenever I sign-in to Yahoo! or navigate any of its pages, it keeps opening a stack of windows of itself.  I hope they fix that soon.  Every other site I visit tonight isn't causing fatal errors like that.  :

So today I get a phone call at 16:00h from Kristy telling me that Jon's been taken to Mesa General for cardiac complications.  Chris, a nurse by trade, goes on to tell me that Jon'll probably miss a few days of work (which, considering that Monday nights are his weekend, means several more nights from this one) but should otherwise be OK.  I certainly wasn't expecting that phone call.  He doesn't even have a history which would explain it.  Really weird.  I'm sure God knows what He's doing, though.  Maybe Jon will get something out of all this when its over.

Obviously, we weren't going to play the MSHAG #100 without him, his roommates, or their house.  While Jon and Monte would game on if one of their friends was hospitalized, none of the others in the group would even dream of doing so.  So Bill, Wayne, and I went to Red Devil for some white pizza followed by a late showing of Eight Legged Freaks at Tempe Cinemas.  Dinner wasn't that good of a distraction, but Eight Legged Freak was laugh-out-loud funny.  I highly recommend it if you like any sort of B-grade movie.  The number of in-jokes was simply astounding.

Well, I'm just on to pass a message from my V-mail to Bill's E-mail from Chey.  I'd better go now if I want any sort of sleep before work this morning.  I did get my bike back Monday, and all parts and labour were covered under warranty!  Yay!  They had warned me that I might have to pay labour, but when I showed up they turned down any sort of payment.  I love warranties!  It rode well on the way home, but the trip to work tomorrow will be the real test.  Wish us luck!
